Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) : How to find comet in the night sky of December 2021

December 2021 is going to be interesting for the astronomers. Already three bright planets Venus, Jupiter and Saturn is going to visible in the night sky of December 2021 and now Comet Leonard will make the sky of December 2021 more colorful.

This comet was discovered on January 3, 2021, by Greg Leonard, a senior research specialist at Arizona’s Mount Lemmon Observatory. It is going to be the binocular object and predicted that people of rural areas where light pollution is less compared to city areas can witness it with naked eyes.

On December 6, 2021 comet will appear just next to bright star Arcturus of constellation bootes. It can be easily observable with binocular.

This comet will get brighter in the first week of December 2021. You can easily track comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) on December 6 2021 (before sunrise into morning sky) just next to bright star Arcturus, which is situated in the constellation Bootes.

It is Predicted that the comet’s magnitude will go down to 4.0 around 12-14 December 2021. The first two weeks of December 2021 is the perfect time to observe this comet.
